Atmosphere was really cool - love the roof top dining options. The food was UH-MAZING!!!!!!!! Can’t say enough good things about it - perfectly cooked, excellent flavor. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!! I’d give it 10 stars if I could!

best view in asheville... the empanadas are flaky and great with the tomato salsa. the coconut cams are creamy and a little curryish the shrimp were perfectly cooked. and the croquettes are sooooooooo good my absolute favorite with the guava sauce ! reminds me of back in miami.

The spread was amazing the service was impeccable only complaint would be the Sun but they offered sunglasses so that was even better service! 10/10 recommend. Perfect for parties!!! The seating is a bit tight so it’s perfect for intimate gatherings for groups of 8 max. You can fit more but comfortably to eat and socialize it would ideally be 8!

If you are in Asheville and want amazing food, a spectacular view in a happening setting topped off with a staff that makes you feel like a cherished friend, then it's Hemingway's Cafe where you want to be. Our server, Ally, could not have been better. When she learned one of us was celebrating a birthday, she added the little touches, including surprising us with a gorgeous dessert. The chef came by and chatted with us. Apart from his considerable culinary talent, he clearly loves what he does and checks in with guests to make sure everyone is being well served and well treated. Great space with good energy as well.

Ahhh, this was a weekend quick trip to Ashville, NC to celebratemy 45th birthday. Rooftop dining with beautiful mountain scenery is lovely on a warm sunny afternoon. The food was delicious. My husband had the double burger with their dill mayo. I had the Cuban ham sandwich with jalapeno BBQ sauce. The fries weren't too greasy and accompanied the sandwiches just right. Other than the service being snail paced slow, this outdoor dining was a success . We enjoyed sipping on fresh lemonade and just taking in the warm fresh air from the sun's golden rays. A picturesque view is worth striking a few poses for. Certainly wait on a table that allows you to behold the view of the mountain peaks from abroad, as you won't regret it! We also met another lady there who was celebrating her 65th birthday and wanted a few poses with the mountains as her backdrop. A very popular place to say Happy birthday with a captivating view.

Loved it! Good local draft beer selection. Rooftop bar would be really nice when it's not so cold, but the bar atmosphere is nice. I spent a couple of nights at the Cambria hotel and had the Nachos de Pollo "small plate". Excellent selection for supper or a sharable for 4. I should caution the management for false advertisement. That was NOT a "Small Plate"! I recommend the Greenman Ernest Pilsner for a beverage. Bartender said it's made just for this restaurant.

We’ve loved Hemingway’s for years. The atmosphere and service is always absolutely amazing. We first loved it because of how fantastic the food was. We would still definitely recommend the restaurant, but the food has changed. The seasonings in the dishes seem more toned down or absent, the congri is no longer a standard side and it’s now a separate (rather bland) side of white rice and bowl of beans. The food was still good and the service was great but it was definitely better, more authentic Cuban food in the past. I just wanted to add an edit to say that we absolutely understand that getting supplies is currently difficult and pricey and also we understand that a restaurant has to cater to their clientele and maybe the menu changed to better serve a larger customer base. By no means do I want to complain about them. They’re wonderful, I just noticed a change and wanted to mention it in case other repeat visitors came looking

We had a very enjoyable time at this restaurant. We ordered lemon drop martinis and they were delicious. We also ordered the ceviche, a blackened mahi-mahi sandwich and the pastelitos de guayaba for dessert. The food was very tasty and the dessert was amazing. Our bartender served us dinner and provided great service. The restaurant has beautiful views of the mountains so it’s a great place to enjoy a great meal or just go for drinks and relax.
